Our Approach

We want to make your celebration one that you, your family and friends will remember for many years to come. No two people or families are the same so why should your ceremony be any different?
We don’t do conveyor-belt, formulaic ceremonies. What we do do is bespoke, contemporary and unique to you. Personal ceremonies that include the little things that mean something to you, ceremonies that tell your story and make you feel “this is us”.
We take the time to get into your shoes, to listen and understand what you are about as a couple or family in terms of what’s important to you, your personalities and your style. After completing our fact finding questionnaire at your own leisure, we have an informal consultation to discuss ideas and establish a framework for your ceremony. We’ll guide you through the options, find the right words, readings, poems and music to say what you want to say, and write a personal ceremony that is totally unique to you. We will help you rehearse, and on the day we will be the friendly face that conducts the ceremony and becomes your voice.

The day we show our commitment to the person we love is one of the most important events in our lives. So shouldn’t we also make it one of the most personal too?

If you are getting married or forming a civil partnership for the first time it’s all too easy to get caught up in rings, dresses/wedding attire and flowers and forget about the ceremony itself. That’s why we make it the centrepiece of your day, and help you to express exactly what you want to say to each other. We put your ceremony at the start of your wedding plans, which can then set the style and tone for the rest of your wedding day.

Throughout time, the arrival of a new baby or a child has been a cause of great celebration. A time to welcome them to the family and to express our commitment to them and aspirations for the future.
We believe it is important to make children feel loved and supported by their family, extended family and friends. And by choosing a Celebration Ceremonies naming ceremony you, too, can extend a unique welcome whether you are marking the arrival of a new baby, the coming together of two families or the adoption of a child.
We will write and conduct a ceremony and put into words and symbolic actions the things you want to say and promise to your children, your hopes and aspirations.

What next?
To put your ceremony at the heart of your day make our Celebration Ceremonies your first port of call. In doing so you’ll be able to take full advantage of personalising your whole day so it really is worth contacting us before you book the venue or set the style for your celebration.
When you get in touch we can confirm availability for the date your require and send you our booking form and terms of business to be signed and returned. To make a booking and save the date we require a 25% non returnable deposit. On signing of the contract we would require a further 25% and the final instalment 30 days prior to the ceremony date. If a booking is made less than 30 days prior to the ceremony date then full payment would be required.
On receipt of the initial deposit we will then send you your questionnaire fact finder to complete at your own leisure before meeting to discuss ideas and options.
